Tony uses his extensive experience of delivering high commercial performance to support leaders build confidence, self-awareness and a more impactful leadership approach whilst moving ‘up’ the organisation into more strategic, visionary and change-resilient roles.
Tony has held country and regional CEO positions in multinational FMCG, consumer healthcare and pharmaceutical businesses. Most notably, he held senior leadership roles at Novartis, where he successfully led significant revenue growth and organisational change initiatives. Tony has worked and lived in Switzerland, Brazil, Australia as well as the UK and has coached executives in France and Germany.
Tony is typically engaged to provide a blend of coaching and mentoring support for senior executives looking to develop a more strategic leadership approach whilst being challenged with letting go of their functional expertise. He has specific experience of supporting leaders challenged with building confidence and self-awareness; the feeling of isolation with increasing leadership responsibility; and the need to develop greater change agility. As an experienced business leader, his coaching is pragmatic and underpinned by commercial reality. He adopts a blend of coaching approaches with the GROW model at the core. He sits on the same side of the table as his clients, sets unambiguous coaching goals and is committed to supporting his clients to achieve these shared business objectives.
With more than 10 years and 1500 hours coaching experience, Tony has coached senior executives from a diverse range of sectors including healthcare, financial services and technology. Clients have included GE, DS Smith, Zurich, Sanofi, Leica and Punch.
