Phil coaches successful C-level directors, VPs and their immediate teams to enable them to maximise their personal and professional potential. His focus includes performance improvement, customer services, relationship management, sales and IT.
Prior to becoming a coach, Phil reached Partner level in a number of major consulting firms and at IBM. At IBM he built and ran their SAP Consulting Group, moved to Ernst & Young, Cap Gemini and then on to PA Consulting Group. He has held roles as director, non-exec, trustee and chairman.
Clients value Phil’s experience and skill in challenging their beliefs, giving them time to think deeply and see their world from other peoples’ viewpoints. He leaves his clients with clarity and determination about how to achieve their planned changes and journeys to successful development and growth. Phil uses a wide range of tools and techniques to suit his client’s situational needs for their behavioural change.
Over the last 12 years, Phil has built up more than 1500 coaching hours. He coaches at CEO and managing director level, directors in technical businesses and roles, including CIOs, IT directors and their teams. Typically, their challenges include succession planning, communication blocks, confidence in Board meetings, vision, goals, and visibility. He has considerable experience in change management ensuring sustainable business change and value for his clients. Phil has strong experience of working with corporate businesses across a wide range of industries including engineering, manufacturing, banking, automotive, airline maintenance, professionals services, utilities, IT, software, learning solutions, transport and telecommunications.
