Mark specialises in presentation skills, public speaking, and helping board members deliver effective IPOs. He supports his clients to create great content, project their presence and engage and influence their audiences. He works with senior leaders on an individual basis and also creates highly interactive workshops and coaching sessions that bring out the best from his clients. He works with senior leaders and their teams across most industry sectors with outstanding results.

Style/Approach

Depending on the requirement, Mark takes a variety of approaches, either drawing on his training as an actor to work on someone’s physical presence and how they use their voice or taking a coaching approach to challenge deep-seated beliefs and thinking patterns, as well as introducing practical tips and advice. Coaching Experience

Mark has worked with hundreds of clients over the last 14 years in multiple industries across four continents. Whilst he has worked at graduate level, most of his clients are C-Suite/ExCo members of large multinationals. He enjoys working with his clients’ strengths to develop their own personal style of presenting. His clients include Barclays, Credit Suisse, Lloyds TSB, BNP Paribas, RBS, NHS, HM Treasury, Home Office, DWP, HMRC, Balfour Beatty, BBC, EDF Energy and Fujitsu.

Qualifications and Background

Mark worked in financial services for Lehman Brothers and Deutsche Bank before heading up the sales of a digital media agency. He then trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and worked as a professional actor for 10 years. He’s worked as a coach, trainer, and consultant since 2005 when an MD in an infrastructure project management firm asked for help with putting together a successful pitch bid for a £1.1 billion PFI project. Mark has completed an intensive coaching skills course with Management Futures as part of a Diploma in coaching (accredited by the EMCC). Furthermore, he has a Level 3 certificate in Learning and Development and is an associate member of the CIPD. He speaks fluent French.
