Kathleen typically works with C-suite leaders and partners in large law, professional or financial services firms. She supports leaders and their teams to break away from impractical behavioural models, structures their thoughts and key challenges and overall improve their leadership performance.

Commercial Experience

Kathleen was a professional lawyer. She worked for a law firm in Brussels practising mainly commercial and corporate law. For several years she worked in Munich in the field of European media law for a German broadcasting company and as legal counsel for a European retail establishment. She is a current member of the New York Bar and former member of the Brussels Bar.

Style / Approach

Kathleen regularly uses tools from theoretical frameworks such as Systemic Coaching and Transactional Analysis, and combines elements of Gestalt therapy and neuroscience-based ‘mindsight’. With her strong legal background, she takes an analytical problem-tackling approach with a focus on clarity and precision. Her style is adaptive and strongly influenced by her multi-cultural background.

Coaching Experience

Kathleen works alongside senior leaders coaching around topics such as stress management, leadership development, resilience and change. Her clients span a variety of industries, including legal, management consulting, insurance, financial and online retail. Having lived in the USA and several European countries, and coaching extensively in the Middle East, she brings a deep cultural awareness to her coaching. She speaks five languages, including French and Italian and coaches in English, German and Dutch.
