Commercial Experience
In her most recent role, Gudrun was HRD at AkzoNobel where she was responsible for the Performance Coatings Division, comprising seven global business units with total revenues of around €6.5 billion. Gudrun brings 30 years of experience in HR management from large and mid-size corporations in a wide range of industries including oil & gas, energy, chemicals, coatings, packaging, financial services and consulting. She understands the dynamics of Executive and Non-Executive boards from first-hand experience.

Gudrun has a strong background in international strategic HR, leadership development, executive search and recruitment, change management, business excellence, and organisational transformation. With over 1000 executive coaching hours, Gudrun has been coaching for 30 years, working with a wide range of private and public sector organisations globally, including E.ON, AkzoNobel, SIG Combibloc, FMO, and Shell. She is on the faculty of RINO Amsterdam for their ICF-accredited Coaching Certification program. Gudrun has lived, worked and studies in China, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Thailand, USA, Vietnam and in her native Germany. She is fluent in English, Dutch and German.
