She has a passion for the consumer from her role as an international buying director. Career history

Beginning her career with 15 years in academia at Edinburgh and Bath universities, culminating with the role of Course Director and Principal Lecturer at Bath, Christine then joined Tesco Plc at Operating Board level as Head of Consumer Services. Her broad experience and profound professional insight then accumulated as she progressed through the various Director roles.

She has enjoyed a portfolio career for the last 15 years, which comprises of NED roles for Next Plc, Woolworths AU and Sonae Portugal, alongside her own business. She spent 6 years as Chief Retail and Consumer Advisor with PWC, and brings experience as an Advisor to Apax and Warburg Pincus PE.
