She is regularly invited to deliver keynotes on gravitas, confidence and leadership. She particularly enjoys promoting the cause of women in business.
Antoinette held senior positions at many of the world’s top PR consultancies including Oglivy, Weber Shandwick and Hill and Knowlton. As such, she understands the pressures on senior leaders and the importance of gravitas to achieve results.
Antoinette takes an analytical approach based on extensive global research into the six qualities that together combine to make up the often intangible skill of gravitas. Jargon-free, practical suggestions enable leaders to develop their gravitas to fit in with their individual’s personal values to present themselves in a way that is both authentic and grounded. This includes tools to increase self-awareness and improve negotiation and persuasion skills.
Antoinette has over 25 years’ experience working in public and private sectors with longstanding clients in PR, media, banking, financial services, entertainment, pharmaceuticals, retail, hospitality, law and technology. She is also Chair of the Board of Trustees for BelEve, a charity that inspires and empowers girls aged 8 to 18 to become leaders of their world.
“Antoinette has the skill of keeping a group of Senior Leaders engaged, challenged and valued for the skills and experience they bring to the table.” – Natasha Gorman, Ascend ‘Senior Leader Talent Programme lead’
“Antoinette has a rare talent for building both individual and organisational leadership capability. As a speaker she’s engaging, authentic, and ‘straight-forward’ in a way that many others in this field lack. As a coach and facilitator she connects with people from all walks of life, with an enviable level of ease and self-assurance; perfectly balancing constructive challenge with support, and aspiration with pragmatism and practicality. As an academic and thought-leader, Antoinette has brought something genuinely new to the vast and often homogenous field of leadership research: a framework for building ‘gravitas’ that is both intuitive and effective, and grounded in robust evidence.” – Jack Richardson, Deputy Director at Government Recruitment Service
