Amanda has worked with top teams as a Senior HR Business Partner for EY as well as the commercial property, travel, publishing and recruitment sectors. She has expertise in talent management, employment law and OD. Her HR career has given her a unique perspective; she understands what organisations need from their leaders and senior people, as well as what it takes for an individual to be successful in their career. She understands the cultural differences between the US and the UK, having worked in the States for two years.
Amanda has a particular interest in career development and working with people moving into new roles. She enjoys working with ‘introverts’ in areas such as personal impact and resilience to enable them to be successful in the ‘extrovert’ world of work. She enables her coachees to develop practical tools to achieve their coaching goals.
Amanda has been coaching for over 18 years and has more than 400 hours of senior level coaching experience. Her HR background combined with knowledge of organisational development enables her coachees to maximise their performance at work. Clients say that she is professional with high integrity. Amanda uses a number of coaching strategies based on positive psychology, which focuses on the strengths of the client as well as practical tools, such as Systemic coaching, Somatic coaching and NLP tools ensuring that the client’s thinking is connected to the wider context of the organisation.
