National Grid is one of the the world’s largest utilities, focused on delivering energy safely, efficiently, reliably and responsibly. National Grid is an international electricity and gas company and of the largest investor-owned energy companies in the world.

Steve Lucas served as Group Financial Director from 2002 until his retirement in 2010. Since then he has held several non-executive director positions including: Tullow Oil plc, Essar Energy plc, Compass Group plc. He is a member of the Energy Boardroom at the World Economic Forum.

The demands of analysts and investors to have company results and financial trends communicated effectively have to be met – authoritatively and consistently. Steve wanted to improve his results presentations to ensure that he was trusted and respected by the stakeholders at National Grid.
