Neopost is a global supplier of business communication solutions that optimise sending and receiving mail, parcels and emails. With a global turnover of €1 billion, they have 800,000 customers in 90 countries and have 5,900 employees.

Faced with the digital revolution and increasing e-commerce together with a significant growth in parcel volumes, Neopost are shifting from their traditional mailroom equipment and services towards software solutions that manage data reliably over multiple channels. This has led to a significant organisational change in the way the company operates globally to share resources and avoid duplication.


Eleven middle managers, with between 5 and 10 years management experience but little formal training, were identified as high performers via their annual review. They had been put forward by their line managers as having the potential to take on a future senior role or a much broader role.

The managers were selected from a range of locations and roles, however they were all finding the change within the company a challenge, in particular, communicating this to their teams.

Neopost were looking for a management programme to support these managers through this period of change as well as to prepare them for a more senior role.

The Aziz Programme

Aziz Future Leaders programme of 8 modules, designed to individual’s accelerate career paths, was planned for delivery over an eleven month period. Prior to the first module, all delegates carried out a Strengthscope psychometric assessment and received feedback during an introductory session. This reflective tool was a useful and positive start to the programme. The following modules, grounded in established theory, provided managers with opportunities to use small group coaching and learning sets to practise their skills and commit to changes in behaviour. Each manager also used the framework of a project to research a challenge in their working environment and consider how they could now tackle this. They planned a terminal presentation to the executive board explaining how they would overcome these challenges at the end of the programme.
