Achieving balance and adapting to the new environment are essential skills. A coach can allow them to step back, reflect and provide a sounding board to formulate next steps. Together with the Coach they would review the current environment and culture, assess the situation from their key stakeholders’ perspectives, devise a communication plan and much more.
The Transitional Leadership Coaching Process
The Transitional Leadership Coaching process provides a confidential relationship in which we will challenge and support you to think and behave differently. It begins with a complimentary ‘chemistry’ session so you and your potential coach can meet, understand each other a little better and learn how the Coach would work. You can then assess whether you think this would be the best coaching partnership for you.
Thereafter your Transitional Leadership Coaching programme begins. It’s usually a programme of 12 hours, made up of 6 two hour session, either face to face or over the telephone, although there is a certain degree of flexibility to incorporate any ad hoc support you may need. It usually involves input from your line manager or sponsor at the beginning to add the organisations perspective on your coaching objectives and similarly will involve their input at the end of your programme to discuss progress made and agree next steps.
