Seminar provides talking point for HR Executives

3R's: Review, Retain, Remove

HR Directors can share advice and tips on how to optimise the effectiveness of their review procedures at a newly launched seminar run by The Aziz Corporation.The seminars also focus on how to identify and nurture leaders, and effectively deal with redundancies.

The forum-based seminars are ideal for any senior executive in the HR space. They provide plenty of room for debate and discussion, under Chatham House rules, on the central concerns for HR executives. Discussions also explore the role of talent management within the modern-day organisation, HR’s place on the Board, and the importance of clear, target-driven objective-setting across all personnel.

Recent attendees at the seminars have included HR executives from a variety of well-known organisations. Following the most recent seminar, a delegate commented,
“What I have found particularly useful is not only the share of best practice amongst my counterparts in other organisations, but also the benefits of seeing that I am not alone in facing the issues and challenges I experience in my role. HR Directors in other companies have similar experiences and had a wealth of advice on how best to manage them.”

Held at The Aziz Corporation.’s offices in central London or Winchester, the forums are chaired by Khalid Aziz., Chairman of The Aziz Corporation, and Anthony McAlister, Managing Director of Accipitor, sister company to The Aziz Corporation.

The first seminar, held in July 2007, featured in-depth discussions of the performance review process, talent management, recruitment and employee retention. The sessions have been heavily over-subscribed and The Aziz Corporation has already scheduled a number of additional dates throughout the coming months.
