Advanced Media Handling Skills (1-to-1 or Group)
Who is our media handling for?
Quality media skills training is a prerequisite for anyone expected to be interviewed by print or broadcast journalists.
Our sessions are aimed predominantly at middle management and senior executives who will need communicate with confidence to the media even under the most challenging circumstances.
Our trainers are not only highly accomplished journalists in their own right but have many years experience as communication and media skills coaches conducting sessions in a challenging but stimulating environment.
Media Training with The Aziz Corporation Each media training session is entirely bespoke but will normally include:
- • Hands-on experience with press, radio, TV
- • Understanding audiences
- • Learning the journalist’s mindset
- • Identifying pitfalls
- • Practising bridging techniques
- • Access to our library of “the good, the bad and the ugly” of televised interviews
- • Dos and don’t of crisis media management
- • Recognising the importance of social media
- • After-care service coaching clients for forthcoming interviews
Our media skills seminars are consistently ranked as “excellent” by delegates largely due to the high level of preparation to ensure that the sessions are relevant to our client’s specific needs.
We believe that the toughest interviews our delegates will ever face will be during our training but it is done in a supportive and stimulating environment.
Crisis communications skills training is offered, if required, with our trainers preparing realistic crises to test the responses of the team.
Our media skills training can be complemented with advice from a range of experts on voice coaching, presentation skills, image consultancy and influencing skills.
Where will our executive media training take place? We have the use of state-of-the–art broadcast studios in London’s West End. We also offer provide training suites at our head office in Winchester and will travel to client’s venues.
